The Gulf Coast Christian Evangelistic Association (GCCEA)
Announces a Gulf Coast Wide Prayer Event
On Monday, May 17, at 7:00 p.m. throughout The Gulf Coast, from Destin to New Orleans, Christians will gather along our beaches to pray for God’s intervention during the oil spill crisis we are facing. We will be interceding for the many families and communities devastated by the effects of this disaster. Local churches will also be hosting public prayer from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the same evening, Monday, May 17. For more information on the beach locations where prayer will take place, please go to the website at **
You and your church are encouraged to participate in this important prayer event. Please make announcements about this prayer effort in your worship services this Sunday. You may choose to pray in your church building on Monday evening at 6:00 p.m., or you may choose to pray at the beach on Monday at 7:00 p.m., or you may choose to do both.
If you have any questions, then please send an email to prayer@governmentstreet.org.

I am a Christian and have been since a young child. I am also more on the liberal, democratic side. I think it is apauling that Christian radio has become so negative and gossipy. Free lunch programs for our children of our great nation has been a part of our government for years. Not just since President Obama has been in the White House. So, we as Christians should let our children starve? More and more, it appears that Christian radio is becomming racist. Is that what God wants from us? I believe Jesus was a giver. I believe He came here to help us and teach us. Now, we are "using" our religion to fight our racist battle. STOP!! We should be praying for our leaders to lead us into the future. You are giving Christians a bad name. You are pushing people away from Jesus instead of pulling them to Him. You don't believe in abortion, I do not either, but yet you won't help them when they get here. I am so ashamed of your radio station.

Since you changed your format to all talk, you will be losing this listener. I thoroughly enjoy talk radio but NOT all the time. Some of us listen to Christian music because we want to flood our minds with inspiration and praisxe. Getting rid of your Praise and Worship (Christian music) has caused me to listen to other stations. Disappointing

Why did you change your format to primarily all talk. What happened to the music? I loved listening to you during the day while I was working. It really helped me get through my day.

Several days ago, a poem was read on your station that had different animals telling how they each helped with baby Jesus and also after that poem, a song was played that had different animal sounds. Could you please tell me the names of both the poem and the song? Thank you so much for your time!

We saw the preview of FIREPROOF last night and it was great. We have a 10 year old grandson that has been at St Jude since Jan 3rd. He came home this past weekend and we needed some reinforcement. We know how Great God is. Remember us in your prayers. The Braddock's
